World Heritage

The Flow Country World Heritage Site The Flow Country was inscribed as a World Heritage Site in July 2024. As time of inscription it is the first peatland World Heritage Site. It is also Scotland’s first World Heritage Site inscribed purely for natural criteria, and only the sixth natural site in the UK.
